UK aims at becoming a major hotspot capable of attracting tech and bioscience companies. The British nation might not be far from its goal as London’s cluster is already magnetizing some non-English biotechs. Last of them is Auspherix Limited, an Australian company that recently raised €8.2M in a Series A venture financing.
Auspherix, an early stage anti-infective company, is establishing operations on the Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst site just outside of London. The Australian-born biotech also has an English investor backing it: Imperial Innovations led the financial round alongside the Medical Research Commercialisation Fund, the Australian founding investor.
